This Privacy Policy explains how Ethiopic List ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects the personal information of users ("you" or "your") of the Ethiopic List mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

Optional Information: Users may optionally provide their phone number, address, or business location as part of their profile or post.

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information, including:
Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the App, such as the device model, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as the features you use, and the content you view or interact with.
1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use tracking technologies integrated via SDKs to analyze app usage and enhance the user experience.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Improve the App: We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve the functionality and features of the App.
To Process Transactions: We use your payment information to process purchases of one-time services or subscriptions, in coordination with third-party payment processors.
To Communicate with You: We use your email or contact information to send you important notifications regarding your account, changes to the App, or customer service inquiries.
To Personalize Your Experience: We may use your information to personalize the content you see, including showing you posts relevant to your interests.
To Analyze and Improve Services: We analyze usage data to understand how users interact with the App and identify ways to enhance the App’s functionality and performance.

3.1 With Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processors (e.g., RevenueCat). These providers have access to your personal information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated to protect your information.

3.3 In Case of Merger or Acquisition

4.1 Access and Update
You can access and update your account information at any time by logging into your account settings. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
4.2 Deletion
Users who have created an account (using email and password) can delete their account directly from within the Ethiopic List app by navigating to: Account > Delete Account
Once initiated, this process will permanently remove the user’s profile, posts, and associated data from our systems.
Note: This option is only available to users with registered accounts. Anonymous users/Guest accounts (those who browse the app without creating an account) do not have account data stored and therefore do not require a deletion option.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no security measure is completely foolproof, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. Please ensure that you protect your account credentials and avoid sharing sensitive information publicly.
The App is not directed toward individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the app from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy in the App and revising the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
